eFoodSafety.com, Inc. Announces: Expanded Study Results Confirm Additional Benefits from Cinnechol(TM) in Reducing Blood Pressure as Well as Cholesterol Levels

Scottsdale, AZ - (WORLD STOCK WIRE) - September 27, 2007 -- eFoodSafety.com, Inc. (OTCBB:EFSF) is pleased to confirm that during the initial phase of testing Cinnechol(TM) for the treatment of elevated cholesterol, an expanded study showed a very strong and totally unexpected benefit of reducing blood pressure among study participants showing symptoms of hypertension. Within this group taking Cinnechol(TM), blood pressure levels had dropped to normal levels within a short period of time even though the individuals had not expected or taken any other action to accomplish this goal.

For those taking Cinnechol(TM), study data showed an average 18% drop in systolic pressure and an average 15% drop in diastolic pressure. For some participants, results were recorded in as little as two weeks. These unexpected results came in addition to data that showed that participants using Cinnechol(TM) also experienced anticipated decreases in total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides.

The positive results for Cinnechol(TM) in treating chronic hypertension reveal more comprehensive potential for Cinnechol(TM) than originally anticipated in treating elevated cholesterol. The results strongly support the value in the company's decision to expand clinical testing of Cinnechol(TM).

"The discovery of Cinnechol(TM)'s potential in treating high-blood pressure is an exciting and unexpected development from a product already showing great promise in treating elevated cholesterol," stated Patricia Gruden, President and CEO. "We expect these results to add significantly to the market potential of Cinnechol(TM) and the health benefits it offers to aging populations worldwide."

Hypertension, also known as the "silent killer," affects one out of every three adult Americans over the age of 20. High blood pressure is a major risk factor for heart disease, stroke, congestive heart failure, and kidney disease.

According to the Center for Disease Control, 90% of middle-age adults will develop high blood pressure during their lifetime. Unfortunately, because hypertension often occurs without any symptoms, serious damage can occur in the body before palliative measures are taken. From 1994 to 2004 the death rate from high blood pressure increased 15.5%, and the actual number of deaths from hypertension rose 41.8%. The approximate cost, both direct and indirect, of high blood pressure in the U.S. for 2006 was $63.5 billion.

Other factors in addition to hypertension, all related to heart disease, will also now be examined in the Cinnechol(TM) study. These include levels of homocysteine, a key marker which can predict future heart attacks, and levels of C Reactive Protein (CRP), a marker indicating inflammation within the vessel walls. By its apparent ability to assist the body in normalizing all facets of heart and blood vessel function, Cinnechol(TM) may in fact be an all-in-one answer which can benefit over 100 million Americans.
