Scottsdale, AZ - (WORLD STOCK WIRE) - December 13, 2007 -- eFoodSafety.com, Inc. (OTCBB:EFSF) today announced its quarterly results for the company's second quarter ended October 31, 2007. Revenues for the quarter increased 40% to $327,878 compared to $197,779 for the same period ended October 31, 2006. The Company on an operating basis, recorded a $42,000 operating profit, excluding research & development expenses and non-cash stock for services' expense.
Patricia Gruden, President of eFoodSafety.com, Inc. stated, "Our financial results continue to show a positive improvement in sales in conjunction with strict financial prudence as evidenced by the significant 45% reduction in our selling, general & administrative expenses, from $133,538 in the last quarter compared to $244,083 in the comparable period in 2006. In the last quarter, we launched the Immune Boost Bar(TM) and in January 2008, we will be launching Cinnechol(TM). The majority of the research and development expenses related to the development and launch of these products have been expensed in the last quarter.
Having established a strong foundation in which to leverage future growth, we are now intensely focused on the continued ramping up of revenues which is expected to include partnering with an accomplished marketing firm to assist in marketing our products to mainstream America. We expect to announce results on this front in the near term. We also continue to forecast double digit improvements in revenue for future quarters while fully intending to maintain profitability on an operating basis.
