ICC WORLDWIDE ANNOUNCES SIGNIFICANT EXPANSION OF ITS ICC BLUE ECOMMERCE PORTAL CAPABILITIES

(Pink Sheets: ICCW) today announced that it has substantially enhanced the functionality of its ICCBLUE.com ecommerce portal. Launched earlier this year as a component of ICC’s transition to an all-wholesale strategy, the ICCBLUE portal is a powerful web-based tool which allows ICC’s European call shop customers to cost-effectively sell a variety of communication products and services to their retail immigrant worker customers.

According to ICC’s President & CEO, Rich Lauer, “The first release of the ICCBLUE site allowed individual call shops to manage their ICC-supplied VoIP-based calling on a highly effective basis. This included the establishment of custom retail-level price points for international destinations. The software also allows an individual call shop to offer multiple grades of voice-quality pricing for each target destination. This allows the individual call shop to tailor its pricing to particular ethnic groups.”

Lauer continued, “With this latest release, we have substantially expanded ICC’s line of communications products offered on the ICCBLUE portal. The current enhancement specifically includes recharge cards (bundles of prepaid minutes for mobile phones) and international calling cards. Calling cards are used for placing low cost long distance calls from pay phones and private telephones. This new offering greatly expands ICC’s potential revenue from each call shop customer site. Critical to their overall sales objectives, a typical Italian call shop will sell several thousand euros per month of these recharge and calling card products. Prior to the availability of technology such as that offered through our ICCBLUE site, a call shop was required to invest heavily in a physical inventory of in-store mobile recharge and international calling cards. Such inventories would typically require call shops to invest many thousands of euros in working capital for these cards. Thanks to the ICCBLUE technology, individual cards may now be purchased online, one transaction at a time. This means that a physical inventory is no longer required; thus eliminating the possibility of out-of-stock conditions (or theft) for specific items. Needless to say, the acceptance of this new technology-based approach for cards has been extremely gratifying.”

ICC’s web-based management and delivery of communications products is ideally suited for the firm’s strategy which focuses on cost-effective wholesale solutions for the immigrant worker market. Using these automated procedures ICC is able to readily scale its sales and customer service operations without the need to add corresponding staff or other related overhead.
